About David
During his travels to Hawaii, Tibet, Nepal and Cambodia at 19, David picked up his first film camera to document his incredible journey. While away two friendships were sparked. It was through these friendships that he acquired his first photography commissions - to document each of their weddings.
After realizing his passion and natural ability to create beautiful images, David enrolled himself in the Photography program at ACAD (Alberta College of Art) in Calgary.
Upon graduation, he was hired on as Staff Photographer for Redpoint Media, shooting for publications such as Calgary's lifestyle magazine - Avenue and Westjet's inflight - UP!.
Understanding his subject matter and capturing their essence is what he does best.
David resides in Calgary, Canada with his wife and two boys but travels often to connect with other cultures of the world and his love of different landscapes.
